Independance day was celebrated in our school depicting unity in diversity through the various cultural programs. Flag was hoisted by Rtd. colonel Mohanan followed by march past of the various groups guides, red cross, cabinet members.

- St. Teresa's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School is an aided private Institution conducted by us, the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel who have Education as our main Apostolate. This School has its beginnings in 1862. In 1906, the School came under the code of Regulations for European Schools. From August, 1923, the management of the School is under the Governing Body of the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society of Kozhikode registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. In 1972, the School got affiliated to the council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and we continued in the I.C.S.E. Scheme till March, 1984. From March 1985, our students are answering the S.S.LC. Examination. In July 2000 the School is upgraded as Higher Secondary School. The medium of instruction in all classes is English.
