An Interaction with a farmer, Mr. Narayanan Namboothiri












An interview was conducted with the farmer Mr.Narayanan Namboothiri as part of the VIII std syllabus. He spoke at large about the various ways and stages of farming (right from sowing to reaping).

St. Teresa's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School is an aided private Institution conducted by us, the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel who have Education as our main Apostolate. This School has its beginnings in 1862. In 1906, the School came under the code of Regulations for European Schools. From August, 1923, the management of the School is under the Governing Body of the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society of Kozhikode registered un­der the Societies Registration Act of 1860. In 1972, the School got affili­ated to the council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and we continued in the I.C.S.E. Scheme till March, 1984. From March 1985, our students are answering the S.S.LC. Examination. In July 2000 the School is upgraded as Higher Secondary School. The medium of instruction in all classes is English.
